THIS IS A COLD SUMMER IN MY SMALL CITY CALLED ALBANY GA. violence is at a all time high!! where's the 5.0?

Before summer of 09 started there were 60 robberies,135 aggravated assaults,and 408 burglaries!!! thats before the summer mane.well maybe its just the hood and if you reside on good side of town you'll have nothing to worry about right??? let em stay over there and kill,rob, and sell dope to themselves right?? WRONG! cause over the years thats what has been happening and now its leaking over to the sunny side of town. can someone tell me how could we solve this problem?
